Boca Raton Parks and Recreation 

Matteis Field named after my grandfather "Sal Matteis" who moved our family to Boca Raton from the Northeast in 1957 after serving in WW II. Sal was the Fire Marshall and Fire Chief for the City of Boca Raton Palm Beach County. Matteis founded the Southeast Umpire and Referee's association for all the local sports leagues and operated Sal's Sport Shops.
