The Sal Matteis Family May 1981

Matteis Fields named after my Grandfather "Sal Matteis" whom moved our family to Boca Raton from the Northeast in 1957 after serving in WW II. Sal was the Fire Marshall for the City of Boca Raton Palm Beach County. Matteis founded the Southeast Umpire and Referee's association for all the local sports leagues and operated Sal's Sport Shops.
